Geofilter Specialist

We’re looking for a Geofilter Specialist to join Team Snapchat! Working closely with the Customer Operations team, you will be responsible for the creative curation and troubleshooting of Snapchat’s Community Geofilters—a product that allows artists and designers to submit fun and creative Geofilters for their city, university, local landmark, or other public location. Working from our Venice, CA headquarters, you’ll collaborate with our Product and Ad Review teams to establish submission guidelines, contribute to product development, and support processes.
What you'll do:
- Curate and activate Community Geofilters
- Utilize map data to create accurate Geofences for the Community Geofilter flight area
- Reach millions of daily Snapchat users by aiming to create the best possible experience for Community Geofilter usage and performance
- Identify trends and prioritize Geofilter requests in high-growth markets
- Provide great support for Community Geofilter user inquiries
Who we're looking for:
- BA/BS degree from a 4-year accredited college or university
- 1+ years work experience in a related content or design field
- Proficient with Google products (Maps, Translate, Drive Suite)
- Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator knowledge preferred
- Eager to learn and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Flexible work-hours; full-time and weekends as needed
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong interpersonal skills, and able to interact with team members throughout the company
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Passion for Snapchat, and creating a fun and creative user experience
