Functional Consultant - Salesforce

The Salesforce Functional Consultant is the key Velocify application expert on the implementation team. The Salesforce Functional Consultant is also responsible for understanding client requirements, developing solutions and configuration of the Velocify application for our clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Interact with client management and users and demonstrate understanding of business needs
  • Provides expertise around Salesforce and Velocify integration functionality.
  • Lead business requirements gathering and solution design of Velocify’s functional processes
  • Facilitate meetings/sessions and drive consensus on overall methods and solutions
  • Perform analysis techniques, including consulting with executives, managers and users to determine hardware, software and system functional specifications.
  • Perform lifecycle activities such as analysis design, development/configuration, documentation, and testing based on system requirements
  • Provide knowledge transfer regarding Salesforce/Velocify integration best practices to client team.
  • Document system issues and work with clients and Velocify teams to develop resolutions
  • Partner with other Velocify project team members to improves processes and procedures.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

Education:

  • BA/BS in applicable field or work equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience with Salesforce.com required
  • Three (3) to five (5) year’s experience in a management consulting firm or software company preferred
  • Experience with one or more CRM/Sales Management software applications preferred
