Who We're Seeking:

Omaze is looking for a dynamic and driven Facilities Manager to help us create an outstanding work environment for our team. You will own every facet of ensuring our workspace is functional, secure, well-designed and well-equipped.

The successful candidate will be: 

  • A Problem Solver. You can handle a million things at once and instead of saying "No," you say, "Let me find out!" You work hard to make sure everything falls into place as seamlessly as possible.
  • Detail-Oriented. From anticipating what supplies need to be ordered to making sure the lights are switched on every morning, you will be obsessed with the little things that contribute to an awesome workplace.
  • Resourceful. You're handy, creative and think on your feet.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Facilities Improvement. You will finalize the build-out of our new office (including design, security, repairs, etc.).
  • Office Maintenance & Operations. You will work through our landlord and vendors to schedule deliveries, maintenance and repairs, ensuring that our facilities are operating safely, efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • IT Support. You will provide IT support to the team; leveraging existing, emerging, and innovative technologies. You will source and negotiate with vendors to perform software and hardware moves, adds, and changes.
  • Shipping Center. You will build and manage a system to serve the shipping needs of our rewards fulfillment team and the office as a whole. 

Our Ideal Candidate:

You have 2+ years in facilities management (preferably at a startup).
  • You're passionate about employee experience and are excited to contribute your talents towards our mission.
  • You're exceptionally organized, efficient, upbeat and have tremendous problem solving abilities. 
  • You take initiative and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • You enjoy managing and building relationships and can serve as a partner to vendors and contractors. 
  • You take your work seriously but not yourself.

    Location

    The office is located in Marina del Rey with easy access to plenty of restaurants. We are close to LAX, beaches and Marina.
