Procore Technologies is hiring an Education Development Specialist! The Education Development Specialist will work with Procore’s educational clients to maximize their success with our products and services. Candidates will develop strategic advisory relationships with clients in order to increase adoption and usage, drive retention, and ensure satisfaction with Procore. 

This position manages the initial setup, installation, and process designs of technical systems along with coordinating training for client users. In this role you will also test and troubleshoot the functionality of systems, partnering with Product, Development, and Customer Success Teams to resolve any issues that arise. 

This position is based in our headquarters in Carpinteria, CA on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We’re looking for candidates to join us immediately. Travel may be required to client sites, industry events, other Procore offices, and more (5-10% per month). 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Taking new educational clients and transforming them into Procore experts and evangelists through training (in person and remote via screen sharing software), support, and relationship management - you will be responsible for the success of clients


• Providing the highest level of service and support to Procore’s education clients through diligent communication


• Communicating with fellow team members (mentoring and asking questions) via instant messaging, email, phone, and face to face meetings


• Complete immersion and mastery of Procore’s product offerings, business model, services, emerging technologies, and best practices


• Timely follow up with new educational prospects; including technical demonstrations of our software

Desired Skills and Experience: 

• Experience in building strong client relationships - at the core of this role is someone who can develop, strengthen, and grow relationships with internal and external clients via phone, email, webinar, and face to face interactions


• Team player who also works well independently as you’ll be a founding member of a quickly growing team within Procore tackling new initiatives


• Ability to assess and provide proactive advice or solutions to clients and leadership across Procore’s organization


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Bachelor's degree is preferred


• Previous experience implementing SaaS software platforms including onboarding, training, and new client relationships is a plus


• Background in the construction industry is a plus
