OVERVIEW:
Manage the design, sourcing, development, production, testing and delivery of Dollar Shave Club’s components, hard goods and gifts on a timely basis and at the quality expected. Work with current suppliers to maintain ongoing quality standards and minimize costs.

Act as ambassador for packaging internally, educating the business on the latest innovations and acting as a key contact for all packaging related queries cross functionally. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for scoping, designing, developing and delivering packaging solutions for new brands, product ranges, re-launches and gifts to ensure DSC packaging leadership in the consumer products market.
• Work with and innovate with Product Development Directors to ensure the appropriate measures are taken to align project/product objectives to the departments and companies goals.
• Resolve and elevate any packaging issues. Identify and communicate critical issues, risk assessments and bring next steps/resolution to the team.
• Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate with internal team members the status of all packaging projects including all key responsibilities and timelines.
• Build valuable partnerships with cross functional team, vendors.
• Develop detailed and effective internal process for approvals to ensure launches.
• Manage and grow Packaging Specialist.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5-10 Years packaging experience in consumer products or related field
• Packaging engineering degree preferred
• Outstanding vendor knowledge and relationships
• Innovator, leader, good communicator, team player
• Organized, problem solver, enthusiastic
• Proficiency in all google platforms
