 Pluto TV, the premier free streaming TV service in America, is looking for a Director of Marketing with experience in optimizing revenue and strengthening marketing partnerships. This person should have prior industry experience with the proven ability to execute marketing campaigns, maximize partnerships and increase revenue. Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to ensure flawless execution of the annual marketing plan, including but not limited to national advertising programs and brand promotions.
  • Establishes and grows marketing partnerships.
  • Maximizes relationships with affiliates to align priorities and objectives, securing incremental promotional and sales opportunities.
  • Maximizes revenue by developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies.
  • Contributes creative ideas and solutions for campaigns and marketing programs.
  • Proactively seeks out new ideas that support the marketing objectives.
  • Supports programming rights renewals.
  • Responsible for proposing, maintaining, and reconciling marketing budgets.
  • Contributes to forecasting and building yearly initiative plans.
  • Understands and maintains brand definitions and standards.
  • Participates cross-functionally with Programming, Distribution, Finance, and Legal to help drive opportunities with affiliate partners and ensure the marketing strategy is cohesive.
  • Stays continuously aware of changing technology, industry trends and government regulations as applicable.
  • Responsible for tracking and monitoring key marketing data, consumer research, and advertising tracking studies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • BS/BA Degree in Marketing or related field is preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience as a Marketing professional in a fast paced, startup environment.
  • Proven ability to increase sales, develop new business, expand distribution, and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Must be a self-starter and operate well independently.
  • Must be professional, highly organized and detail oriented, and tech savvy with proficiencies in: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Google Docs/Slides.
  • Experience working in a Media, Advertising, Marketing and/or Technology environment preferred.
  • Must have excellent communication skills and be a team player.
