The Data Analyst will be a key member of the Retention Squad. You will measure and understand churn trends, while providing readouts on the incremental churn reduction impact of churn mitigation tactics.

Responsibilities

  • Track stats related to retention reporting and churn mitigation tactics like churn rates, campaign conversion, incremental lift in stick rates
  • Pull data from various sources utilizing SQL, web analytics tools, email campaign management software, etc.
  • Quickly analyze experiments, A/B tests
  • Go beyond absorbing and reporting data to get to the why's and the so-what's
  • Must like working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

WHAT DEFINES SUCCESS

  • Work cross functionally to find every piece of data you need
  • Integral in helping identify new ways to optimize customer retention at all points in a customer's lifecycle (acquisition, onboarding, active, cancellation, and churned out)

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

  • 3-6 years of experience in an analytical role
  • Have Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Finance, Psychology, Engineering, or related field required
  • Ability to conduct basic statistical analysis
  • Advanced Excel skills, Pivot Tables and vLookups are your best friends
  • Ability to make presentations and distill complicated analysis into simple and straightforward visual presentations
  • Experience in a subscription services business is preferred
  • Experience with tools like SQL, Campaign Analytics, Web Analytics, mixed panel, Looker, Google Analytics
  • Background in implementing an analytical process
  • Experience working in cross-functional environment (Marketing, Engineering, Brand, etc) is a plus
