The Honest Company is seeking a Customer Development Manager for our Grocery, Drug & Natural retail business! We’re looking for an outstanding sales professional with experience executing innovative strategies to reach our customers in store. If you have experience working with a leading CPG company, extensive knowledge of marketing best practices, and a passion for The Honest Company’s mission to deliver safe, eco-friendly products to consumers, this position is for you.
What you’ll do:
- Develop and execute Honest’s new product launches and sales strategy for our Grocery, Drug and Natural retailers, including brand positioning, promotions, merchandising, pricing, training materials etc.
- Create actionable insights and strategies based on syndicated data and category best practices
- Identify creative new ways to engage with customers by identifying opportunities and planning annual merchandise calendars for our specific retail channels
- Partner with Honest’s Product, Brand & Creative teams to develop compelling marketing content in store and through email outreach
- Align Sales, Design & Marketing teams to develop and execute channel-specific customer presentations and business reviews
- Lead the customer specific coupon strategy and measure ROI on various programs
- Contribute to customer strategy ensuring The Honest Company’s business objectives are achieved (sales, profit, share, new item listings)

What you’ll need:
- 5+ years of experience in the consumer packaged goods industry
- 3+ years of experience in account management and/or customer marketing
- Knowledge of syndicated data sources including IRI, Nielsen, and SPINS
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, & Word
- Ability to travel up to 20% for customer/market visits, trade shows and sales meetings
Bonus Points for:
- MBA
- Previous experience working with Grocery and/or Drug channels
- Quantitative skills and financial acumen
