FabFitFun is looking for an analytical Consumer Insights Marketing Intern for Summer 2017. This will be a paid internship for an MBA candidate who can commit to 10 weeks working at our FabFitFun HQ in West Hollywood.

As your cover letter, please include a page or a slide with:

A SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, threats) of the subscription box industry

-OR-

Pick a company that’s doing the subscription box business well (can’t be FabFitFun) and explain why.

What You'll Do:

Leverage current data and social media community forums to build a comprehensive customer profile or segmentation
Conducting data analysis to deliver valuable insights which can be transformed into actionable strategies
Work cross-functionally with product, merchandising, customer service, and marketing on relevant consumer insight projects focused on key business questions
Conduct qualitative and quantitative research with core consumers to inform and impact departments across the company
Assist with developing online surveys, tracking CSAT/NPS scores, analyzing customer trends
Support the team on projects supporting consumer insights initiatives

What You'll Bring:

Self-starter mindset, able to work under minimal direction
Currently pursuing an MBA
Locally in the Greater Los Angeles area or willing to relocate for the opportunity
Strong communication and presentation skills
Able to analyze quantitative and qualitative data and draw insights which translate into business and product strategy
Confident working cross-functionally with various teams across the organization
Capable of excelling in a fast-paced startup environment

Bonus Points:

Background in the fashion/beauty/retail industry
Experience in subscription box company
Previous history working in a startup environment
Knowledge of various market and consumer research techniques
