Cargomatic is seeking a Carrier Operations Manager to accelerate the rapid growth of the Los Angeles market. The right person will be comfortable in an "all hands on deck" environment, loves solving problems and can thrive in a start-up culture. This role is all about driver growth and retention; you will own the supply side of our unique double sided marketplace. You will be an individual contributor and may eventually manage a talented and growing team. That’s just the start; the sky’s the limit!

Responsibilities:

• Source carriers; build a carrier base and then iteratively grow that base by combining your network and nuanced understanding of the market
• Onboard drivers; take full responsibility for vetting, gathering and verifying documentation and training new drivers on our mobile app
• Carrier retention; develop and implement strategies to increase carrier engagement on our platform
• Carrier management; directly manage carrier issues, be a problem solver, troubleshoot technical issues and be the main point of contact for our drivers
• Incentivize; create and manage new processes for carrier promotions and events
• Hustle factor: drive, grit, scrappy, get sh*t done. Choose your adjective and live it!

Requirements:                                                                         

• 4 year college degree, preferably in business, marketing or engineering
• 2+ years work experience, 1+ in a client or customer facing role
• Valid driver license, reliable transportation and a clean driving record
• Able to work in the field and our offices in Venice
• Spanish language proficiency is required to be considered
