The Honest Company has kicked off a search for a Buyer to support our procurement function! In this role, you’ll issue, manage, and update purchase orders with all assigned vendors and at the supplier level, and will be the main point of contact for suppliers regarding their purchase orders.

What you’ll do:

• Provide purchase order (PO) support and visibility to internal stakeholders
• Responsible for regular PO follow up with suppliers
• Measure and hold suppliers accountable for OTIF performance on a monthly basis
• Provide KPI feedback along with performance improvement suggestions
• Work with planning and logistics to optimize speed of delivery to DCs when needed
• Provide MOQ, optimal order quantities, and cost saving opportunities to supply planning
• Identify and communicate potential risk to on time delivery of products
• Negotiate costs savings on COGS and expenses wherever possible
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable to insure uninterrupted payments
• Provide support in execution of product transitions
• Ensure accurate item master data for assigned suppliers
• Coordinate issue resolution concerning vendor quality or service disruptions

What you’ll need:

• 4+ years experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related field
• 1+ years experience buying in manufacturing, CPG, or a related industry
• Prior experience working with contract manufacturers/suppliers
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to manage projects and deadlines effectively
