Associate Manager of Operations
Reporting to the manager of operations, you will play a key role in training teams of Returnistas at our new Return Bar locations, as well as supporting teams at existing locations. You will aid in designing and implementing new operational programs at Return Bars as well as our Hub processing facilities, helping scale Happy Returns while maintaining our exceptional level of service.
The associate manager of operations will:
Assist the manager of operations in planning and executing operations initiatives
Train mall partners’ concierge staff as well as company Returnistas using company-provided training materials
Launch new Happy Returns return locations
Work directly with concierge staff to resolve customer and operational issues related to Happy Returns
Assist in hiring Returnistas to staff company-owned and operated return locations
Help to develop and improve training materials
Deliver and review weekly and monthly performance metrics with concierge staff and internal teams
Build and maintain relationships with concierge staff and mall management to promote the company and ensure a consistently excellent experience for customers
Work as project manager on small-to-medium sized company initiatives
Contribute ideas and data that help drive the overall success of the company
We are looking for someone with:
A successful track record leading and growing teams providing world class consumer services
A strong background in training new team members, preferably including creating new training materials
Passion for developing leadership skills in yourself and others
A positive, inspiring attitude
Very strong organizational skills
Exceptional communication ability, including speaking to groups of five to fifteen people
A strong bias for action
An interest in and willingness to travel—frequent, short trips within the United States are required
A strong ability to solve problems independently in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
