Procore is looking for an Accounts Payable Manager to join our Finance & Accounting team! This position is based in our headquarters in Carpinteria, CA on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

What you'll do:

  • Develop, implement and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines
  • Manage two AP Specialists to ensure completion of accurate and timely accounts payable processing, provide guidance on moderate to complex issues, support the effective resolution of issues; provide relevant opportunities for training, mentorship, and career development
  • Ensure timely completion of all accounts payable financial deadlines for monthly, quarterly and annual financial close cycles, including supporting requests from internal and external audit functions
  • Review all invoices for appropriate documentation, purchase orders, and approval prior to payment
  • Prepare monthly accruals for services received but not invoiced and expense reports pending approval
  • Manage and reconcile corporate credit card program and related liabilities monthly
  • Review and audit expense reports for accuracy and proper authorization
  • Manage third party payment integrations to the general ledger
  • Partner with Procurement to manage vendor relations; communicate with other departments and with vendors regarding our position on relevant issues
  • Manage annual 1099 reporting
  • Additional projects and functions as assigned

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related area preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Seven or more years in Accounting and Accounts Payable experience with at least one year in a supervisor or manager position
  • Working experience with and knowledge of accounting software systems (preferably Intacct)
  • Must have experience with and passion for continuous improvements of systems and processes
  • Excellent people, communication, and writing skills, and ability to work well with internal and external customers
  • Experience working within a fast-paced, high-growth environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong Excel skills; Ability to manipulate and analyze large volumes of data, identify trends and issues and provide insights to management and budget owners
