Accounting Intern

We are looking for an intelligent, motivated, detail-oriented individual to handle a variety of accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be computer savvy, meticulous, personable and be able to both take direction and be resourceful. This position reports directly to the VP, Accounting. Minimum 20 hours per week, ability to work up to 40 hours per week.

What You'll Do:

• Enter invoices and process weekly check runs
• Prepare credit card reconciliation for company credit cards
• Help with filing and keeping supporting documents organized
• Support Accounting staff with various business needs
• Assist with special projects as needed

 Who You Are:

• Currently getting a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or a related field
• Experience with MS Excel and Word
• Impressive attention to detail; ability to learn quickly and execute effectively
• Resourceful team player
• Ability to stay organized with a wide variety of tasks
• Strong written and communication skills
