Exactly four years ago (almost to the day!) Coloft hosted the first Startup Weekend LA in what Coloft founder Cameron Rasouli called "an incredible moment in LA Tech." Every Startup Weekend LA since at Coloft has been an spectacular success - and this weekend's event will be no different.

Startup Weekend LA begins on Friday night with dinner and networking before the pitches begin. Teams pitch their startup ideas in 60 seconds, for an hour and a half straight. After, popular vote will decide which ideas will be worked on Saturday and Sunday. Then, teams form and the 54-hour frenzy of business model creation, coding, designing and market validation will bring the ideas to life.

Startup Weekend culminates Sunday night when the teams make their final presentations to some of LA’s most prominent figures in the startup community. This year, Startup Weekend LA features an all-accelerator judges’ panel including: managing director of Techstars Los Angeles Cody Simms, managing director of Launchpad LA Sam Teller and director of investor relations at 500 Startups Adam Corey.

This weekend promises to be another special one as LA’s best and brightest entrepreneurs, developers and engineers will meet, discuss and collaborate to keep LA at the forefront of tech innovation. Register for Startup Weekend LA here.
