6 LA Offices We'd Love to Work At

The weekend appeal of living and working in Los Angeles is obvious. When workdays are spent in equally jaw-dropping offices – like Red Bull, Zip Recruiter, ZestFinance, and Media Temple, who’ll all be in attendance at this summer’s LA Uncubed Startup Summer Block Party – it’s no wonder LA’s startup scene is taking off.

Let’s dive into some of our favorite LA offices.

1. Zip Recruiter

ZipRecruiter’s on a mission to make it easier for companies to find talented people – and they certainly do a good job of attracting employees at their own business. With a gorgeous nature-themed office, catered lunches, a weekly office manicurist, and in-house massages, ZipRecruiter’s employees have everything they need to feel energized for the day’s work. And if that isn’t enough, they can always opt-in to the office-wide juice cleanse.

2. ZestFinance

Located in the heart of Hollywood, ZestFinance’s sprawling office is brightly decorated and offers lounge areas, a communal kitchen, and even a “kegerator.” Plus, the company enjoys catered lunches from the award-winning LA restaurant Lucques – not on occasion, but every day.

3. Media Temple

At Media Temple, you won’t feel like a mindless drone – even if the office may be nicknamed “The Beehive.” Media Temple’s Culver City office exudes a modern aesthetic, though the wooden touches add old-timey charm. Plus, they offer “Freeloader” lunch on Fridays, bagels on Mondays, ping-pong battles and monthly happy hours. If Rover is feeling lonely at home one day, feel free to bring him along to work – the office is dog-friendly.

4. Red Bull

RedBull is famous for giving people the energy they need to get through the day. Whether or not their own employees are chugging cans, though, they can also get moving at the massive skate ramp, movie theater, secret gaming room and recording studio – all located in the recently renovated warehouse that RedBull now calls home.

5. Factual

You can achieve great heights at Factual, whose Los Angeles sky-high office allows for stunning 360 degree views of the city. The office also includes the “SNUG” lounge, replete with cozy chairs and a wall of books, a game room, and a massive meeting room named the “Dancefloor.” If the architecture doesn’t entice you, employees can also relax from a hard day’s work with in-office yoga lessons and catered lunches on Fridays.

6. Connectivity

Connectivity’s Burbank office mixes minimalism with gritty city aesthetic – the walls are decorated with graffiti-like art from local artists. With regular food trucks visiting and catered lunches, the company calls itself “100% pro-food.” They fulfill the laid-back West Coast vibes as well, with annual summer parties and holiday soirees, along with regular happy hours.

Feeling major office envy? You can make one of these offices your new work home. Red Bull, Media Temple, ZestFinance, and ZipRecruiter all are hiring talented developers, designers, and business pros July 17 at LA Uncubed.
