The three month Distro Dojo program will be focused on growth marketing for companies with at least $100,000 in revenue per month, and have staff to run growth experiments during the program. They are accepting up to 10 pre-series A companies and reportedly have a few spots left on the roster.

The program will be based in WeWork's Gas Tower location in DTLA and is part of 500 Startups' effort to launch 10 new Distro Dojo programs across the world. Prior to Friday's announcement, Kuala Lumpur, London, and Miami were the only cities to host Distro Dojos, all of which ran for the first time in 2015.

The LA program will be run by partners Andrei Marinescu and Matt Ellsworth and program director Jess Erickson (pictured above).

“LA has a large, maturing startup ecosystem comprising many great entrepreneurs and investors," said Marinescu. "With that said, action-oriented, results-driven growth programs (and related resources) are limited, which is where we saw a great opportunity for the Distro Dojo."
