In the wake of the holiday weekend, LA's tech community is still bustling with activity. Check out the week's top events:

TenOneTen Tech Talks with Rajiv Maheswaran, July 7 at 6:30 p.m.

TenOneTen Ventures hosts technical talks by data science leaders to discuss creative applications of data mining, machine learning, computer vision, & AI. This month they are hosting Rajiv Maheswaran, CEO of Second Spectrum, at Factual. Second Spectrum's goal is to enhance the way people play, coach, and watch sports by designing products that make data easy to understand and apply.

'The Language of Content Strategy' Lunch & Learn, July 8 at 11:30 a.m.

In this content marketing meets intelligent content engineering lunch-n-learn case study, Scott Abel, The Content Wrangler, will explain how he and co-editor, Rahel Anne Bailie, created the new book, "The Language of Content Strategy" with the help of the crowd, structured XML content, a wiki, and a formal content strategy. 

UXPALA Summer Mentorship Mixer, July 8 at 6:30 p.m.

Girls in Tech LA + Global Girl Media are collaborating to host a Summer Mentorship Mixer at Twenty20 in Marina Del Rey. There will also be a few short talks from some fabulous women in the technology and media space followed by plenty of time to mix and mingle with other members of the local community.

Mastermind Hot Seats, July 9 at 6:30 p.m.

Whether you're working on a new idea and need opinions, growing your startup and need resources, or just like to chat about business challenges, "Hotseat" can help. The birthplace of the LA Women's Entrepeneurs Meetup, Hotseat will be moderated by founder and entrepeneur coach Lisa Tsou.

Back to the Future at Pasadena City Hall, July 11 at 5:30 p.m.

Experience the 80's classic like never before. Pasadena City Hall will be commemorating the 30th anniversary of Back to the Future with a screening on the largest inflatable movie screen west of the Mississippi. There will be foodtrucks, live music, and Pasadena City College's beloved robot Baxter.
