Honey is helping millions save money on a daily basis and we're growing! Our engineering team has just surpassed 65 and we’re looking for a seasoned VP of Engineering to help our team scale. A successful candidate will have managed large teams at a company that has scaled rapidly (both in size and architecture). Key success metric for this position is helping our team of leads and managers grow and maintain challenge for their teams.

What You'll Do:

• Manage a team of managers and development leads. Mentor, coach, and help build their capabilities, as well as identify and grow the next set of these leaders.
• Work with the CTO and product management team to implement and prioritize across the multiple product lines. Show good judgement in trade-offs and schedules.
• Work alongside the QA Director to build schedules and confidence in delivery.
• Work with cross-functional teams to drive and implement the product. Identify, mitigate, communicate, escalate and manage risks early. Promptly resolve issues faced during operationalization by working with different stakeholders. Provide thought leadership and recommendations to stakeholders based on best practices and experience working in a diverse environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS in Computer Science, or relevant experience
• At least 8 years of experience as a developer (no longer being hands on is fine)
• At least 5 years of direct management experience
• Experience in scaling a system beyond 20M users
• Product management mindset preferred
