Make Your Mark:
As a Technical Trainer, you will deliver innovative training classes and experiences to our customers, partners, and internal employees. This position is ideal for an enthusiastic, energetic individual who enjoys actively engaging with others in a learning environment (virtual and face-to-face).
You must be comfortable working on multiple deliveries and collaborating on content development projects.
You'll Get To:

  • Deliver engaging training classes on BlackLine products in person and virtually, integrating best practices and consulting skills with changes in and improvements to software solutions, technology, methodology, processes, and tools.
  • Articulate and demonstrate technical and professional knowledge of training content and curriculum available across the BlackLine University portfolio.
  • Remain current with developments and trends in areas of expertise.
  • Meet assigned quarterly and annual delivery satisfaction and utilization targets.
  • Follow and maintain operational or project tracking systems for each delivery or development project and adhere to deadlines.
  • Participate in training needs analysis, qualification, and/or delivery preparation calls with customers, partners, and internal employees as needed.
  • Work with Learning Experience Designers and cross-functional subject-matter experts to capture course-specific knowledge and verify that developed learning content is accurate and current.
  • Effectively collaborate in cross-functional readiness and internal enablement initiatives, developing and maintaining effective relationships that contribute to learning opportunities and the development of effective training and learning deliverables.
  • Monitor industry trends and present recommendations for education, including topics of interest and delivery methods.
  • Represent the Training team at key customer events, user conferences, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.


What You'll Bring:
Years of Experience in Related Field: 3-5 years of BlackLine and/or accounting experience
Education: Bachelor's degree or the equivalent work experience
Technical/Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • BlackLine
  • Accounting/financial background
  • Public speaking
  • Project management
  • SaaS implementation methodology


Other:

  • Ability to conceptualize and present technical concepts clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to deliver virtual training with MS Teams, WebEx, or similar applications to both small and large audiences.
  • Ability to accommodate a global virtual and in-person delivery schedule outside of regular North American business hours.


We're Even More Excited If You Have:

  • Experience applying adult learning principles to ILT and VILT training sessions.
  • Experience in eLearning and ILT course design, storyboarding, student and instructor guides, lab exercises, and job aids with tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, Captivate, Microsoft PowerPoint, etc.
  • Experience using Smartsheet or similar project management software.
  • Multilingual speakers are encouraged to apply.

Salary Range:
USD $80,000.00 - USD $113,900.00
Pay Transparency Statement:
Placement within this range depends upon several factors, including the applicant's prior relevant job experience, skill set, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, BlackLine also offers short-term and long-term incentive programs, based on eligibility, along with a robust offering of benefit and wellness plans.
