ROLE SUMMARY: 
Dollar Shave Club (DSC) is looking for a creative, passionate, results driven Senior Product Development Manager to help deliver high quality innovation and products that meet the demands of our exploding member base. You can take ideas and concepts and turn them into a steady flow of high-performance, newsworthy product launches that deliver amazing results. We are a hands-on, fast-paced environment; therefore, the ideal candidate will be self-motivated, solution-focused and able to work autonomously with an openness to change.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works with external partners and internal cross-functional departments to develop new products, line extensions, reformulations, and tech transfers from project initiation to launch
• Initiates product briefs and leads development with external partners through lab validation, pilot & line trial, and first production
• Works closely with Marketing/Brand Development and Creative teams from concept to launch, helping to support and approve product messaging on artwork and site
• Partners with Regulatory/Legal to ensure product compliance and supports testing initiatives
• Collaborates with Packaging in the development of components that deliver optimal product use experience, match desired aesthetic and meet overall project cost objective

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of Product Development experience
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects with various deadlines
• Proven ability to develop high quality products, within cost, and on time
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Strong work ethic and track record of high productivity
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated, solution-focused and able to work autonomously
• Excellent collaborator
• Flexible team player who is looking to thrive in a fast-growing environment
• Working knowledge of competitive products with a passion for the industry
