Responsibilities:

  • Establish strong relationships with all stakeholders
  • Be willing to roll up one’s sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Manage a team of IT Support Specialists and Customer Support Specialists
  • Standardize software and hardware standards across the company
  • Standardize processes
  • Manage and assist employees with prioritization of requests and projects; allocate and assign resources, determine costs and scope, communicate impacts and schedules
  • Provide timely status updates on issue resolution and service delivery
  • Own and develop an IT knowledge base to ensure proper knowledge transfer
  • Oversee and lead IT projects
  • Lead operations service delivery and support
  • Represent IT in company’s decisions
  • Leverage best practices from industry

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of managing complex IT projects
  • 5+ years of managing a team, manage staff’s expectations of work performed, develop professional development plan, assess
  • Good knowledge in IT software evaluation, implementation, testing, deployment, and production support using the ITIL framework
  • Good acumen in IT concepts. Must be familiar with various operating, systems, network protocols, standard applications, and computing environment
  • Experience in working in a warehouse, manufacturing, or logistical work environment
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Great communication skills
  • Organized and mature
  • Possess the entrepreneurial attitude/ability to make an impact in the organizations and to deliver awesome products to the customers
  • Experience in financial and capacity planning
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and dealing with ambiguity

Extra Credit For:

  • Evaluate the state of a project and the organization, and make changes when necessary
  • Experience in client services or customer support
  • Big plus: Experience with Netsuite
  • Big plus: ITIL Foundations certificate
  • Great sense of humor
