OpenX is looking for a talented and highly motivated senior front-end engineer to help us build the UI Platform that powers our products. You will be working in all aspects of agile application development, building the new UI foundation, continually investing in it, and helping other teams develop consumer-grade experiences on top of it. You will work closely with other engineers to make sure the APIs are well defined, documented, tested, and easy-to-use. You’ll be working closely with User Experience (UX) designers and Product teams to bring the best user experience and design to the enterprise. Scalability, performance, and rock-solid reliability are all factors to consider with every line you code. Your opinions will be important in all phases of product development, starting from requirements to validation and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement and test solid Web Application code by working closely with UX designers, Product Management, and Back-end teams here at OpenX
• Participate and take leadership throughout the development cycle, including meetings, agile estimations, design sessions, releases, and more
• Mentor other engineers in how to make use of the best technologies available in the market
• Own components, processes, and workflows that demand professionalism, excellent communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
• Make a massive contribution to a UI platform that can power the entire company’s application suite and deliver the best user experience possible at an enterprise level

 Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional experience building high-performance, highly-interactive, asynchronous JavaScript/HTML applications
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or related fields
• Experience with Web Frameworks such as AngularJS, React/Flux
• Experience with CSS, jQuery, Grunt, Yarn, npm, Bower, Webpack, Node.Js is preferred
• Experience with UI automation testing tools is highly valued but not required
• Good understanding of software development life cycle
• Understanding of package management, reproducible builds, unit testing, and scalable architecture
