In this role you will:

• Work with engineers and QA team to manage build, implementation, testing and deployment processes across multiple product platforms
• Clearly communicate company goals to the engineering team
• Translate complex business needs into technical user stories
• Balance multiple business priorities with engineering team needs
• Build relationships across company teams to understand various technological needs
• Anticipate change in product requirements and be able to create alternative scopes and processes to fit team resource scenarios, budgets, deadlines
• Identify, plan for and communicate technical risk factors and roadblocks between engineering and the rest of the company
• Lead engineering retrospective and sprint planning meetings
• Act as a trusted partner and advocate for designers, copywriters, engineers and the rest of the company
• Comfortable using tools like GitHub, inVision, Sketch, SQL to review and talk about design, code and data
• Familiarity with pros and cons of latest web and mobile development technologies, libraries, frameworks

We are looking for:

• 5+ years of product development/management experience overseeing the design, development and launch of successful consumer internet products
• Excellent personal, verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to work well across departments and in a team environment, SCRUM experience a plus
• A demonstrated track record of developing outstanding experience for e-commerce marketplaces
• Ability to set and meet deadlines and to manage development / production staff to ensure that projects remain on schedule and within budget
• Willingness to roll up sleeves and "do whatever it takes" - attention to detail
• Able to exercise discretion and keep strictest levels of confidentiality
• Must be available and willing to work extended hours as occasionally needed (during crunch times!) per day or per week, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs
