The Role:
The Data Analyst is responsible for providing analytic support across the organization and will be joining a growing Data Science team working with the latest big data/data science solutions. The individual should have the desire to perform analytical work, learn all facets of the business, and improve market knowledge while providing technical expertise to produce data informed decisions.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing big data technologies such as Google Big Query and Big Table.
- Provide reporting on key metrics and providing actionable insights.
- Develop queries, analyses, or reports from applications for operations or ownership group, or develop specifications for such queries or analyses.
- Gather feedback and information across our various departments to inform decisions (Purchasing, Sales & Marketing, Operations, and Finance)
- Assist in conducting analysis of data and interpret data findings into reports and presentations.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of reports prior to distribution.
- Be hands-on while the team is built out, helping to build reports and dashboards.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Information Systems. Master's degree preferred.
- 3-5 years experience preferred
- Experience creating dynamic visualizations via Tableau or similar
- Strong background in preparing data for analysis, KPI definition, and reporting Producing “high value” business analysis.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and self-starter skills, with emphasis on self-initiation and follow-through
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, juggling several simultaneous duties
- Experience creating graphs, charts and dashboards to detail key findings.
- Knowledge of basic relational databases and querying constructs such as joins and unions.
