InVision is the world's leading product design platform, powering the future of digital product design through our deep understanding of the dynamics of collaboration. We provide three million people with the power to prototype, review, refine, manage and user test web and mobile products. InVision drives the product design process at leading Fortune 100 companies, including at Disney, IBM, Walmart, Apple, Verizon and General Motors. Backed by Accel, ICONIQ Capital, FirstMark Capital, Tiger Global and others. InVision is a distributed team with over 300 employees around the world.

Are you passionate about design and leadership? Are you a natural connector and big-picture thinker? Are you organized and well versed in program management? If you answered yes to these three questions, consider working with us to empower and educate design leaders around the world.

We are hiring a Program Manager, Design Education to bring new programs to the design leadership community. In this role, your mission is to create programs to help design leaders grow faster, together. The first program you’ll manage is the DesignBetter.co workshops program. You’ll work closely with InVision workgroups, including: design education, partnerships, customer success, events, design, and field marketing.

If you’re creative, collaborative, process oriented and simply excited about the opportunity to help designers at top companies grow through a new workshop program.

The ideal candidate has experience in community initiatives in the design field, an event management background, familiar with event programming, and is an adept project manager.

This role will require public speaking and semi-regular travel.

12 month responsibility breakdown:

  • 50 % - Manage, improve, and grow the workshops program
  • 25% - Support other programs in Design Education, as needed
  • 10% - Further develop a functional, reliable, and compelling customer journey for design leaders looking to professionally elevate
  • 5% - Explore new programs that’ll add value to the design leadership community
  • 5% - Build and manage an expert network of 3rd party thought-leaders to facilitate workshops around the world

Future Responsibilities:

One of the coolest parts of this role is that it will be a bit self-made. The Design Education department at InVision is a mission-driven organization, aiming to provide exceptionally high-value for the global design community. Over the long term, we still don’t know exactly what products we’ll build. You get to help determine and prioritize new offerings. As such, the Program Manager, Design Education will be able to help shape our vision.

Job Requirements:

- 3+ years in relevant work experience (project management, marketing, event production, strategy, vendor management, speaker management, cross-functional team work)

- Willingness to travel (up to 30%)

- Expert in writing compelling content

- Field experience preferred. Ideally 2+ years of a proven track record in successful event marketing

- BA/BS preferred

- Proven ability to own and design beautiful customer journeys

The Ideal Candidate:
Self-starters, big-picture thinkers, and task-oriented do-ers will thrive in this position.

The successful candidate will also play a key role in making decisions that inform our Design Education roadmap, influence the larger business, and ultimately drive the InVision go-to-market strategy for workshops, and beyond. S/he ideally has experience in delivering high-value educational programs to the design community.
