About the Role

Route is looking for an outstanding TPM to lead our core consumer platform. In this role you’ll lead development of our core iOS and Android apps, creating the highest-performance and highest-quality version of Route possible. You’ll work cross functionally with the feature teams responsible for components like tracking and our new Discover marketplace to ensure that every app release is high quality and defect-free. You’ll work with a team of engineers and designers, and help us develop a robust testing and QA process - possibly managing external resources to do so. Route is a fast-paced environment where things change quickly, so you’ll bring a calm, flexible, sensible attitude to help teams stay coordinated and motivated as we execute fast!

The ideal candidate will be well versed in product strategy and development for consumer mobile applications.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee development of our core iOS and Android App platforms as well as our Mobile API and future web platform
• Manage our presence in the App Stores, including consolidating feedback from app store reviews to drive prioritization of high-impact features 
• Developing and improving our QA + release management processes
• Management of cross-team initiatives like Internationalization, accessibility, and implementation of UI kits.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in product management or technical program management working cross-functionally with engineers and other stakeholders
• 3+ years of experience in mobile app release, QA, and app development process
• Technical background preferred by not required
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Talent for influencing even without direct authority
