We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to join our Product Management team. This role will focus on developing, launching financial data intelligence services in Dave’s financial platform that has been used by over 7 million people. You will help us scale our current platform and facilitate the development of new, innovative features leveraging the vast financial data. The particular focus for this role will be on our financial platform, building products using data analytics and machine learning models to gain insights into transaction patterns and user behaviors, hence enabling the delivery of targeted offerings of financial products and services to our customers. 

Executing on this will require strong quantitative research abilities and technical acumen.

What You'll Do

• Work with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, create specifications, draft design documents and gather input from different teams
• Communicate, coordinate, and work closely with product and engineering teams to support product development
• Hands on SQL querying
• Perform analysis into transaction database to apply algorithms including Machine Learning to derive insights 
• Work with other engineers to analyze root cause bugs and system failures
• Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering to launch new experiments that help to improve our current systems

What You'll Need

• 5+ years of professional experience, 3+ years as Senior Product Manager or equivalent product and technical experience
• Experience with handling Big Data sets, especially with products based on data and analytics
• Excellent communication with engineering and senior management
• Experience strongly desired with Payments or FinTech
• Intermediate understanding and hands-on work with SQL and Business Intelligence tools like Mode, Looker, or Tableau
• B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent experience
