Rival is continuing to expand our Consumer and Enterprise product lines, and we are looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to focus on exciting new products and challenges in Consumer Experience and E-Commerce.

Rival’s Product Management team tackles hard, entrenched problems in order to make the live events experience better for fans, teams, and artists. We build products and technologies to help our clients understand, delight, and inspire their fans in new ways while improving their operations and economics.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams in the creation, development, launch and iteration of innovative new products and features. In this role, you will have an opportunity to shape the future of commerce for major live events. You will focus on complex problems such as creating fluid and fan-friendly buying experiences under intense demand conditions, tackling marketplace challenges, and reworking the purchase experience for next-generation devices. You will work closely with Engineering, User Experience, Product leadership, and business stakeholders, and help to drive forward Rival’s strategy, planning, and product execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead a cross-functional team in the creation, development, and launch of impactful Consumer products and features
• Develop a deep understanding of users’ wants and needs, as well as competitive and complementary market factors, and use research to stay abreast of shifting conditions
• Analyze challenging problems, and work with Engineers and UX Designers to design and execute industry-leading solutions
• Collaborate across business stakeholders, Product leadership, and executives to create and communicate a shared vision for your products
• Establish key success metrics, measure and track performance, set concrete goals, and prioritize roadmap work to achieve them

Requirements

• 3+ years of product management experience building and launching successful consumer and e-commerce software products
• Experience communicating product design thoughts via documentation and wireframes
• Experience building and maintaining strategic roadmaps, product plans, and backlogs

Preferred Qualifications

• Extensive product management experience at a technology startup, or primary product responsibility over major functionality at an established consumer technology company
• Experience working on consumer e-commerce or marketplace products preferred
• Excellent communication skills working with technology, business, executive, and external partners
• Excellent problem solving ability for design, strategic, and technology challenges
• BA / BS or equivalent career experience preferred
