Workout output is tracked by motion trackers that calculate the speed and the amount of punches thrown during a workout. The Product Manager is responsible for working with UX designers and engineering teams to bring product features from concept to launch. They will communicate the product vision in language that is meaningful to both engineers and business stakeholders. This includes creating UX documentation, writing product requirements, and presenting business impacts. This opportunity is the perfect fit for someone with experience in product design, development, or planning, who is looking to grow into a role with input on larger product strategy. 

The Product Manager will also act as Product Owner. This means they will be responsible for the success of the product by maximizing the output of the development team within a scrum framework. They will be expected to clearly express the product backlog items, ordering the items to best achieve goals and optimize the value of the work the team performs. They will also lead collaboration, facilitate sprint activities, and communicate requirements artifacts that translate business needs into executable requirements. As a product manager you can also expect to work closely with business stakeholders, product/project managers, and technical teams to understand, analyze, refine, prioritize, and communicate needs to ensure full understanding of project scope, objectives, and requirements. Ultimately, you will also develop and adapt the product vision, write new user stories, and specify acceptance of each user story.

What You Will Do

  • Act as product owner on our agile product development team
  • Driving the product design cycle: research, wireframe, present, test, and iterate on all product design work
  • Own the product through its lifecycle, measuring impact, evaluating hypotheses, and continuing to iterate solutions based on customer feedback
  • Managing engineering priorities and feature backlog
  • Collaborate with other product team members to provide senior leadership with necessary documentation and communication regarding road maps, priorities, timelines, features, etc.
  • Work collaboratively across numerous teams (Engineering, Product Design, Content, Marketing) to ensure product roadmaps and vision are consistent and clear
  • Assist in the development of short and long-term product strategy to achieve business and user needs
  • Define a set of KPIs to measure customer satisfaction and business impact with the ability to analyze them and utilize them in decision making processes
  • Provide help on the engineering recruitments process

You'll Be A Great Fit If You...

  • Are a self starter and have the ability to act autonomously
  • Have experience in Product Management or adjacent fields; experience in mobile and technology companies is preferred
  • Have strong analytical skills; ability to utilize tech to track outcomes and inform future decisions
  • Have excellent communication skills; you are able to write clear and concise product and technical requirements
  • Have the willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to help your team win
  • Are highly organized; you exercise great discipline in planning
  • Have constant attention to detail

Bonus

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher; computer sciences or engineering degrees preferredFamiliarity/experience using JIRA
  • Ability to query and manipulate your own data - (SQL proficiency)
  • Experience in fitness or gaming industry
