- Maintains the knowledge of the Messaging industry and ecosystem
- Act as the primary point of contact with the client during the pre-sales phase for all messaging topics.
- Serves as primary point of contact for customer for limited period after successful onboarding, to ensure customer needs are met with our messaging service.
- Effectively present the technical benefits of the TeleSign messaging offering and show how these translate into business value to the customer
- Coordinate with Sales Representative of account and opportunity planning.
- Provide deep competitive insight and differentiation to customers.
- Develop deep knowledge of how existing TeleSign customers are using TeleSign messaging solutions and maintain technical and business expertise in industry directions and trends.
- Author technical responses and specifications to Request for Proposals as related to Messaging services
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the customer's business, structure, practices, challenges and requirements within the context of the customer's business sector
- Orchestrate between multiple departments to ensure a competitive solution is presented to the customer.
- Custom tailor messaging setup to meet the needs of the customer.
- Create the content and delivery of solution demonstrations/presentations for messaging services.
- Coordinate with regional and global counterparts.
- Participate in improving existing features and product performance as appropriate.
- Lead/participate in working groups and panel discussions with professional associations.
- Guide and mentor junior team members
Essential Requirements
- The Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Telecommunications or similar
- 3-5 years of work experience in account management or trading, relevant SMS/Voice industry experience is a must.
- Has established network of contacts withing SMS industry.
- Advanced experience using Excel, Salesforce, and audio and web conferencing (WebEx, GoToMeeting, Skype, Lync, etc.)
- Ability to conduct in-person, web, and audio technical presentations.
- Must be a critical thinker with the ability to uncover business challenges and develop a custom solution to solve those challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to capture, develop, and share knowledge with peers and customers to raise competencies.
- Ability to see and present "the big picture" through strong listening and question-based selling skills.
- Must be effective in working both independently and in a team setting.
- Fluent in English, verbal and written
- “Start-up Style" creativity and execution and ability to operate in ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Has deep region-specific knowledge and wide network of contacts in the SMS industry
- Experience with data visualization in Tableau
- Previous experience in SMS or Voice aggregator company
