In this role you will:

  • Work with product leadership to manage and drive the strategic priorities
  • Empathize with the user - figure out who they are, what they need, what pain points they are having and build features to meet their needs as well as the needs of the business
  • Translate the identified business needs into requirements easily digestible by cross-functional teams
  • Work closely with UX/UI, engineering, QA, and analytics to bring ideas from conception to completion
  • Manage product backlog and define user stories
  • Analyze data and usage patterns and maintain an optimal experience pre and post product launch
  • Stay on top of design guidelines and technologies that affect the business
  • Continuously evaluate the performance of products and features and develop recommendations for improvement

We are looking for:

  • 7-10+ years of product development/management experience overseeing the design, development, launch, and measurement of successful consumer web and mobile products
  • Excellent personal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Flexible to work on multiple business initiatives; focus on seller experience, buyer experience, and fulfillment systems
  • Prior people management experience a plus
  • The ability to work well across departments and in a team environment
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and "do whatever it takes" - attention to detail
  • Able to exercise discretion and keep strictest levels of confidentiality
  • Must be available and willing to work extended hours as occasionally needed (during crunch times!) per day or per week, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs
  • Working proficiency in Mandarin a plus
