The Director of Product Management works under the guidance of the Vice President of Software to develop the company’s core software products and help transform our go-to-market approach through best-in-class products, platforms & processes. You will also be responsible for overseeing the strategy, ideation, prioritization and process of Product Development and Management of the company’s software products. You will collaborate with other parts of the organization to identify key product initiatives, gather requirements, and translate them into product specifications. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure products/features are created to spec and on schedule. You will develop a deep understanding of our products, technology, customers, and competitors in order to create innovative consumer experiences.

 

Primary responsibilities:

 

Developing plans for rapid prototyping and user-centered product design
Lead, define and develop the product strategy to support our strategic objectives and create a competitive advantage
Develop a product strategy to dramatically increase user engagement and drive customer growth.
Evaluate or build business cases and high-level development plans based on gaps in the existing product offering
Manage cross-company efforts for new products from approval through to implementation
Develop and formulate product strategy, generate team/stakeholder recommendations and communicate to leadership/organization via email and presentations
Conduct internal data analysis on key business/financial metrics and operational activities to improve product performance 
Work cross-functionally to ensure smooth training, sales, delivery, and performance of product
Take initiative for channel delivery and conduct regular roundtables and outreaches with relevant stakeholders on product features, business policies, performance; act as liaison for sales training needs as emerging products are launched
Serve as Marketing Liaison for emerging product line, ensuring that emerging product is represented in corporate marketing efforts; work with marketing and channel delivery team on collateral
Track, monitor and manage performance of emerging product portfolio to ensure products are performing to expected performance/quality metrics 
 
QUALIFICATIONS
 
Minimum requirements:

8+ years related experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics Finance or related field required. 
Sound business judgment and ability to create decision-making framework
Previous product management and/or business intelligence/analysis experience a plus
Ability to manage meaningful work-streams and drive them to completion
Experience with online advertising industry
Experience working with market sizing, competitive analysis
Experience building business model/financial models
Knowledge of Sales/Channel and Operations a plus
Ability to use data-driven and analytical approach to decision making 
 

Preferred requirements:

10+ years in developing digital products for B2B clients
Successfully delivered advertising products to market for clients to meet marketing goals and objectives
Understands enterprise software models, with the ability to facilitate new ideas and solutions to use software-as-a-service for clients
Experience with other forms of digital media, including display, email, social and other forms of lead generation online
Experience leading Agile product development teams
Demonstrated track record of driving product development through research, planning, implementation, launch, analysis, and iteration cycles.
Experience with creating intuitive user experiences through wireframes and mock ups
Exceptional communication and organizational skills and ability to interact with diverse groups of technical and non-technical stakeholders at the executive level
