We are seeking an entrepreneurial Lead Product Manager to work with engineers and designers to help execute product initiatives at Chef’d. This is a role at a startup; so, it includes a blend of high-level strategic thinking and hands-on operational responsibilities as well as communicating upwards (with the CEO and CMO) and externally with customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Product owner of e-commerce and web applications at Chef’d
  • Lead the end-to-end product planning process, including ideation, project planning/scheduling, product refinement, go-to-market planning, and product launch of all our e-commerce, web, and media channels and products
  • Lead product development project(s) including sprint planning, sprint grooming, day-to-day project operations, retrospectives, releases, and all project-related activities
  • Work with the technical contributors, including engineers and designers, to determine and commit to an implementation schedule and delivery
  • Work with the CEO, CMO, CTO, and CRO and help them translate high-level strategic imperatives and requirements to actionable tasks that we can prioritize, allocate resource, schedule, and commit to a delivery
  • Work with consumers and clients/partners helping them to use our front-end applications and technologies
  • Run meetings with stakeholders and organize thoughts into user stories
  • Define, establish, and analyze metrics that provide insights to our customers, products, and business
  • Identify market/business opportunities
  • Be conscientious of our process and culture; constantly maximizing efficiency, creativity, and delivery
  • Leverage best practices from industry (technology, design, and process)

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of product management or product design with a focus in web, mobile, or/and digital products
  • 5-7 years of experience designing user interfaces
  • 5-7 years of experience leading and organizing sprint planning/grooming, retrospective, and brainstorming/ideation sessions
  • 5-7 years of experience in an e-commerce platform, especially Shopify
  • 5-7 years of experience in measuring and analyzing customer usage and behavior, especially in establishing insights in the user journey and marketing funnel
  • Current lead on consumer-facing product in E-commerce
  • Strong understanding as to “why” a consumer buys
  • Excellent acumen in digital technical concepts. Must be familiar with various media/software technologies including the Internet, web, network protocols, devops, software development, and computing environment
  • Demonstrated ability to define and achieve strategic goals
  • Possess the entrepreneurial attitude/ability to make an impact in the organizations and to deliver awesome products to the customers
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment surrounded by highly-motivated, creative, and smart individuals and dealing with ambiguity
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Great communication skills
  • Organized and mature
