We’re looking to hire an entrepreneurial Consumer Product Lead to drive the roadmap for the consumer-facing product of our advisor platform. What you’ll do

• Lead the efforts for Altruist’s consumer-facing products, including a mobile app for investors to access their advisor-managed portfolios
• Steer a cross-functional team of engineers and designers through an agile development process and regular releases
• Help design simple and delightful customer experiences that provide immense value to the clients of financial advisors as measured by product adoption and NPS
• Understand customer pain points through qualitative and quantitative research, come up with solutions, and then prototype, iterate, and launch frequently
• Be an owner of features and products, end to end, from concept, through launch, to user adoption 
• Work within aggressive timelines to prioritize your work for maximum impact

What you’ll need

• 5+ years of hands-on product management experience with both web and mobile products, including native iOS apps
• Strong experience with customer research and product analytics 
• A passion for and track record of shipping well-designed products with great user engagement
• An entrepreneurial attitude and deep empathy for our customers
• Familiarity with financial products or a willingness to learn very quickly
• Experience with financial services is a plus 
• A proven track record of building products that users love 
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact persuasively with engineering and design teams
• An affinity for a fast-paced, early-stage environment
• A bachelor’s degree in a technical field (computer science or engineering) is a plus
