Hello! AppOnboard is looking for a Technical Support employee to work on our IT team. The perfect candidate is a team player who's hungry to learn and grow their skill sets as well as pick up new ones on the fly. Must have at least 2+ years of experience previously in this role.

 AppOnboard is a next-gen platform that powers Full-Fidelity Demos, which allow users to instantly experience an app or game in the highest quality possible before downloading it. AppOnboard enables app and game testing, driving insights to product teams and optimizing app launches and onboarding.

Responsibilities

  • Assist users with their IT needs. Must be able to interface with different levels within the company
  • Support the operation and maintenance of the internal AppOnboard network 
  • Identify and explore new technologies which will help enhance the overall IT function 
  • Work within and improve upon our JIRA-based ticketing system 
  • Provide world class internal support on laptops, peripherals and accounts 
  • Including setting up, configuring, and tracking machines 
  • Maintain and create documentation with an eye to improving processes 

What You Bring to the IT Team

  • 3-5 years experience in an IT support role with a strong customer service orientation 
  • Self-motivated with a strong bias toward driving solutions and results 
  • Experience maintaining, upgrading, and deploying network infrastructure 
  • Ability to troubleshoot MacOS issues
  • Understanding of OSI model and layers 
  • Comfort with cloud-based SAAS environments and Google products 
  • Strong project management skills, with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously 
  • Excellent communication skills

Extra points for the following

  • Experience with Linux including filesystem, networking, security and storage
  • Previous experience working in tech startups and/or the gaming industry 
  • Experience with JIRA, pfSense firewall, Netgear switches, Ubiquiti wireless AP, Google Apps, GitHub and AWS 
  • Experience with bash scripting and desire to automate tasks, ethical hacking
