Technical Office Assistant

We are looking for a Technical Office Assistant to join our team at our headquarters in Santa Barbara, CA. This role will work effectively as part of our Operations team to assist with office duties with a focus on internal technical issues. This person has a desire to gain hands on experience at a fast paced startup environment. This is a part-time, paid internship.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Assist Operations team with everyday office duties as needed
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve IT related problems from in-house software to hardware, such as Laptops, PCs and Printers
- Providing internal user support in various levels for technical and non-technical staff
- Help with on-boarding of employees with operating systems
- Assist with provisioning of accounts and access for various network and business systems
- Research and understand technical documentation, and an understanding of how to apply various technical resources
REQUIREMENTS
- A current Junior or Senior interested in gaining in-office experience
- Comfortable with different types of technology (Macbooks, video conferencing, etc.)
- Familiarity with Mac system
- Strong desire to learn and possesses solid troubleshooting skills
- Is a team player with a can-do attitude
- Enjoys working with people and excels at problem-solving
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Santa Barbara, CA local hire only
- Ability to work 10-15 hours a week in our office; preferably 2-3 hours each week day
