Job Summary:
We are looking to add a System Engineer to our growing team who has extensive experience with architecture and building solutions for eCommerce Fulfillment Centers. In addition to experience with WMS, WCS, ERP and TMS this candidate should also have deep knowledge of Robotics and Machine Learning.
Job Expectations:
Work with building design engineer, simulations engineer and Director of system architecture to deliver high performance integrated FC solutions.
Collaborate with hardware development team to develop system that leverage technology to increase density and speed of our new FC’s to maximize ROI of network investment.
Design, Analyze and Optimize the system level solution for the overall system network
Design, Analyze and Optimize the FC system to develop flexible scalable systems
Learn particulars of the iHerb business to engineer a system that improves ROI and customer experience.
Take a true systems engineering approach to optimize the whole by manipulating all the variables of the parts.
Your work directly influences operational structure as well as the hardware designs of the components.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Required:
Experience in integrating WMS, WCS, ERP, TMS, demand forecasting tools, Machine Learning.
Experience in material handling systems integration is a plus (e.g. AGVs, Sorter, Conveyor, Palletizing robots etc.)
Aptitude and personal interest in quickly learning and understanding new technologies.
Ability to solve prospects’ problems by understanding complex needs and thoroughly consulting them on ways to solve those needs.
Experience in utilizing robotics system and A.I. in material handling or in other areas.
Demonstrable expertise or portfolio of complex systems engineering
Enthusiasm for robotics and automation.

Equipment Knowledge:
Understanding of Supply Chain systems
Experience Requirements:
Generally requires 5 years practical Systems Engineering experience. Networks, FC or logistics systems engineering experience a plus.
Education Requirements:
A Masters Degree in Robotics/Information Systems/Automation/Electrical or Mechanical engineering required.
