The City of Pasadena is looking for a highly motivated and customer service focused candidate to support the City's enterprise wired, wireless, fiber and virtual network infrastructure, including commercial fiber accounts. This career opportunity includes:

• Leading and participating in the development of enterprise-level network infrastructure and security strategy
• Designing, installing, configuring and administering network infrastructure and security systems
• Serving as network infrastructure lead and coordinator supporting City and Commercial customers.

Salary: $106,818 - $133,522 + Excellent Benefits + 9/80 Schedule (Alternate Fridays Off)

IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING BACKGROUND:

• BA/BS from an accredited four-year educational institution in Information Systems, Information Technology, Network Engineering Technology, Network Design and Management or closely related field AND
• At least six years of progressively responsible experience in the analysis, design, development and management of advanced network infrastructures or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Senior level experience and advanced skills required for one or more of the following areas:
• Network Security Systems, Software and Security Practices
• Virtual Software Define Networks
• Campus and Metropolitan LAN Network Planning & Design
• Fiber Optic and DWDM Networks
• Wireless and RF Networks
• Exceptional leadership and written and verbal communications skills
• CISSP Certification Preferred.
