The Role:

The Operations & Fraud Specialist role is responsible for building trust in StackCommerce’s ecosystem for our customers and partners. You will work closely with product and engineering to advocate responsible usage of the platform and to reduce malicious activities. From the customer side, you’ll review transactions and build automations to prevent fraud, including reporting on user behavior. For our vendors, you will help to streamline processes and take actionable measures to ensure our vendors are delivering a great customer experience. The ideal candidate is technically minded, highly analytical and data driven. If you’re sharp, business savvy, resourceful, and can communicate complex ideas with ease, then we’d like to talk to you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Analyze data around customer transactions and credit card chargebacks, reporting up to the leadership team on your findings & KPIs.
  • Manage and improve our 3rd party fraud prevention software, safety procedures, and workflows to minimize risk and enhance our customer experience.
  • Facilitate our vendor relationships to ensure they meet the needs of our customers, acting as a liaison between customers and Sales. Your goal is to help vendors avoid penalty fees by shipping quickly and clearly communicating resolutions with our Support team.
  • Develop new processes and assist in initiatives to help scale and automate all aspects of Operations.
  • Proactively identify solutions to consistently enhance the customer’s experience and CSAT by improving our self-service tools (Help Center, chatbot and auto-responses).
  • Be a point person for the customers of our top tier Publishers, handling escalated tickets, internal requests and partner projects.

About You:

  • Tech-Savvy. You are familiar with Macs and common products like Gmail and Excel, and use them to your advantage.
  • Analytical. Data driven; you can make fast and accurate decisions based on data sets.
  • Compassionate & friendly. You have a genuine concern for others, excellent listening skills, and an intelligent yet down-to-earth voice that’s equally likeable via written and spoken word.
  • Optimistic & detail-oriented. You know that small things matter and naturally present ideas in a concise yet thoughtful order.  Your commitment to excellence has driven you to create a trail of successful accomplishments in your life, leaving things better than you found them.
  • Insulation. Ability to thrive and drive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment and maintain speed and efficiency with minimal error.
