About the Position:

As a NetSuite Administrator, you will join our Business Systems team, acting both strategically and tactically. You’ll be a key cross functional contributor, managing NetSuite projects, implementing enhancements, reducing tech debt, troubleshooting, and making recommendations for improvements. 


This role can be located at HQ in Los Angeles or remote.

Specifically, you will:

  • Use your NetSuite administration expertise to troubleshoot and enhance NetSuite SuiteBilling for our accounting team. 
  • Execute solutions for new strategic projects while supporting incoming production requests.
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce team on the critical integration between Salesforce and NetSuite.
  • Train and support the accounting team on NetSuite navigation and best practices. 
  • Administer security, users, flows, searches, pricebooks, items, forms, html layouts, and roles. 
  • Project manage NetSuite system initiatives from inception to launch, providing requirements documentation, implementation, user testing support, and change management controls. 
  • Create a comprehensive data dictionary of NetSuite attributes and act as a liaison and subject matter experts for our data and analytics team as they build out financial reporting. 
  • Create reports, searches and dashboards for our accounting team. 
  • Import data and ensure data integrity in our NetSuite instance. 
  • Create a roadmap for NetSuite improvements, tech debt reduction and new areas of automation. 
  • Collaborate cross functionally on quote to cash processes with our Data and Analytics, Operations, Restaurant Success and RevOps teams.
  • Customize NetSuite where necessary to meet the requirements with an understanding of SuiteScript (actual development of Suitescript is a nice to have). 
  • Document integration and process flows and conduct knowledge sharing sessions, providing clarity and recommendations on refining processes around business systems and subscription billing.

Within 1 Month You’ll:

  • Complete the ChowNow onboarding camp to gain a deep understanding of our mission, customers, and business.
  • Shadow each stakeholder department, gaining an understanding of the ChowNow business workflows, and our ecosystem of integrated applications.
  • Learn the Salesforce to NetSuite quote to cash process, integrations, products, and price book set up.
  • Begin attending regular prioritization and requirements meetings as part of the Business Systems team.
  • Complete a deep dive review of our NetSuite implementation, its customizations, and end-to-end system flows.
  • Conduct interviews with end users and publish a document of pain points to address and ideas for

Within 3 Months You’ll:

  • Participate as an active team member by taking ownership of NetSuite support and enhancement requests in the Business Systems team bi-weekly sprints. 
  • Gain a detailed understanding of the current state of NetSuite at ChowNow and create a prioritized backlog of requests in Jira. 
  • Complete a deep dive of the current state of NetSuite, its integrations, data, and subscription billing processes at ChowNow. 
  • Partner with the Data and Analytics team to create a data dictionary for financial reporting. 
  • Create a project roadmap for NetSuite enhancements, integrations and business process support. 
  • Document and demo a solution(s) you’ve developed to our bi-weekly sprints.

Within 6 Months You’ll:

  • Become a trusted partner to the business by serving as a subject matter expert on NetSuite, subscription billing, the quote to cash process, and accounting data. 
  • Contribute to the successful completion of financial reporting and become a subject matter expert in NetSuite data. 
  • Lead the transition to ChowNow 2.0 pricing and subscription billing.
  • Implement at least one strategic initiative which improves automation, operation efficiency, and/or data transparency.
