Lead Electronics Technician
Why This Job Exists
Autonomous precision deliveries require highly reliable electronics and compute running on our pods and aircraft. Highly skilled, in-house electronics prototyping is a keystone of our ability to move quickly, adapt, and keep pushing the boundaries of precision autonomous delivery. Your responsibilities will include owning prototyping, modification, and maintenance of pod and aircraft electronics assemblies for testing, experiments, and product demonstrations. Your role will be a mix of lead technician and shop manager. Initially you will be leading the charge, but as we scale, your responsibilities will grow into growing and managing a team of technicians to support our growing delivery efforts and product portfolio. You will work collaboratively with software, mechanical, and electrical engineers to bring a new class of aerospace products to life.
What We Are Doing
At DASH we are building the future of aviation enabled logistics where one-day deliveries
anywhere in the world are just as possible, convenient, and cost effective as mailing a package
down the street. We accomplish this feat by commercializing aerial delivery technologies.
Simply put we build the system that allows any airplane, helicopter or drone to safely,
effectively, and legally land cargo into an area smaller than a helipad. To achieve this goal we
are advancing the state of the art in precision aerial guidance while tackling unique engineering
and aviation challenges. Founded in 2017 we have put our systems to the test delivering
thousands of pounds of supplies for hurricane relief. We land the package not the plane.
