Senior IT Support Engineer
FloQast is searching for a highly technical IT Support Engineer to run day to day operations, architect and implement custom IT solutions. This role will serve as front-line user support for all FloQast employees, and will also take lead on day to day setup, support, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities Include:
- Own and manage the day to day IT help desk / operations at Floqast;
- Own the onboarding / offboarding process of employees which includes but not limited to provisioning equipment, workstation setup and identity access management solutions;
- Provide day to day support to employees on issues as necessary;
- Support other office technology (phones, televisions, projectors, video conference equipment etc.);
- Assist in system administration duties where assigned;
- Architecting an enterprise wide asset management system;
- Architecting an enterprise wide imaging solution;
- Assist in implementation of enterprise identity access management solution;
- Assist in troubleshooting networks as needed;
- Perform other duties or special projects as needed
Required Qualifications:
- 3 years minimum experience of Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016 Experience
- 3 years minimum experience of general IT support / engineering
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Understanding of network protocols such as TCP, UDP, IP, SSH, SMB, LDAP etc.
- Knowledge of VMWare, Cisco Switches, Routers, and Firewalls a plus
- Knowledge of Knowledge of ITSM, Asset Management and other management tracking systems
- Extreme Attention to Detail
- Strong sense of ownership and urgency, organizational and time management skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal and consultative skills
- Strong work ethic and integrity
- Ability to work well under tight deadlines and respond to rapidly changing demands and fulfill efficient follow ups
- Detail oriented with strong problem-solving and decision making skills
Preferred Qualifications:
1-2 years experience working with Active Directory and Windows based systems
1-2 years experience working with MacOS based systems
1-2 years experience troubleshooting end user technology issues
Experience provisioning accounts in multiple applications
Experience troubleshooting common networking issues
