About The Role

We are in search of an IT Specialist who can provide world-class technical support to our growing company. You will work with entry level employees to senior executives ensuring their experience working with technology is one which enhances their job. This hands-on professional will provide excellent troubleshooting, superior customer service, and valuable feedback on how to improve our processes (we want to hear YOUR ideas!). This role is located in our El Segundo headquarters. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide new hire support, prepare and deliver computer equipment as requested
  • Execute processes for terminated employees, including asset retrieval, account disablement, and all necessary security measures
  • Printer and print server setup and support
  • Inventory management, ensuring adequate computer supplies are on hand
  • Closely monitor ticket queue to provide quality assurance of tickets in progress. Responds to and resolves requests concerning systems operation within established Service Level Agreement (SLA)
  • Proactively manage conference room technology
  • Participate in directed projects
  • Recommend changes to improve existing process
  • Document IT processes and build user facing knowledge base
  • Document all end-user requests and interactions in the ticketing system.
  • Good organization and project management skills with attention to details
  • Maintain a flexible approach to work schedule with early starts and late finishes (for example, 8am - 5pm, 9am - 6pm, 10am - 7pm, limited weekend work) as rotating patterns, subject to business requirements

What You’ll Have:

  • Effective listening, organization, and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Proven ability to maintain accuracy, and complete work in a timely manner
  • Ability to work independently and focus on detail
  • Experience with audio-visual equipment and management of presentations
  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple tasks/projects simultaneously
  • Ability to interact with a variety of people while establishing/maintaining positive and effective working relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively to seek solutions
  • Ability to model professional behavior and instill this in others
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Able to lift at least 25 lbs and (move around, crawl under desks)
  • Associates or Bachelors in IT/IS (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 2 years of Helpdesk/IT experience preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of Customer Service experience preferred
