Bird is a last-mile electric vehicle sharing company dedicated to bringing safe, low-cost, environmentally-friendly transportation solutions to communities across the world. We provide a fleet of electric, shared scooters that can be accessed via smartphone. Bird is headquartered in Venice, California and is rapidly expanding across the country and the world.

The IT Project Coordinator will support the Bird IT Team to implement strategies, systems, tools and ensure that projects are delivered to standards of quality and value to achieve Bird IT’s mission to protect people, assets, and reputation. This role works in partnership with Physical IT teams, third party vendors, Data Centers, business stakeholders, and Facilities Leaders to evaluate priorities, objectives and deliverables. This role will report to the Head of IT.

What You'll Do

  • Designs standardize processes and Best Practices from initiation to completion in partnership with SMEs, including project scope, documentation, measurements, communication and implementation to global security leaders and teams
  • Develop insightful recommendations to address complex operational and strategic problems.
  • Evaluate the impact of proposed changes, with attention to being able to scale and provide sustainability over time.
  • Create project plans and build consensus among diverse sets of stakeholders.
  • Researches and evaluates industry standards and benchmarks to support project (as needed).
  • Fosters strong cross pyramid partnerships and able to effectively prioritize workload demands to meet project deadlines
  • Manage cross-functional projects from outline to implementation.
  • Ability to analyze stakeholder needs and resolve conflicts while communicating decisions in a timely manner
  • Design and compose weekly reports, meeting minutes and quarterly business reviews for stakeholders and GS leadership.
  • Develop insightful recommendations to address complex operational and strategic problems.
  • Evaluate the impact of proposed changes, with attention to scalability and sustainability over time.
  • Create project plans and build consensus among diverse sets of stakeholders.
  • Manage cross-functional projects from outline to implementation.
  • Other duties as assigned by client or Milestone management.
  • Coordinate events/tours if necessary
  • Create security programs and support communications in region.

What You'll Need

  • Demonstrated project management skills that drive results.
  • Knowledge of processes & procedures development.
  • Proficient with MS Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication, attention to detail, and organization.
  • Highly motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and demanding setting.
  • Ability to quickly learn and master new technology.
  • Possesses planning, organizational, motivational skills, and is detail oriented.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or 1 – 2 years of relevant experience
