Responsibilities:

  • Create, update, and enhance IT procedures and policies, plan and execute preventative maintenance activities and initiatives
  • Plan, develop and oversee all network operations including administration of routers, firewalls, network switches/hubs, servers, voice switching and other IT related equipment/technologies
  • Effectively communicate information systems status, issues and recommendations for change to stakeholders
  • Build relationships with staff and business partners to ensure systems’ operational efficiency and stability
  • Proactive/informed troubleshooting for all employee and department IT related issues: including servers, desktops, software and peripheral devices
  • Oversee and track cybersecurity and related training for all staff/end users
  • Collaborate with HR to help facilitate the onboarding/offboarding process of new co-workers, including equipment provisioning and software/tool installation and access
  • Take ownership of Google G Suite administration
  • Manage all IT-related vendor relationships as well as liaising with our external compliance auditor
  • Support the Sales and Success teams with responding to InfoSec inquiries and questionnaires
  • Use tact, discretion, and excellent communication to oversee projects from beginning to end
  • Prepare reports for senior management


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in IT support, ideally within a SaaS or technology startup environment
  • Experience developing and maintaining IT standard operating procedures and playbooks
  • Background in cybersecurity best practices is ideal, including but not limited to intrusion detection, disaster recovery, and familiarity with SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA audit and compliance.
  • Background in networking administration and troubleshooting is recommended
  • Experience in Google G Suite Enterprise Edition is required, including exposure deploying workstations, emails, software/tools for new employees
  • Experience in managing Okta directories and integration with various SaaS platforms is ideal
  • Experience managing SAML/oAuth or similar authorization or password management tools is ideal
  • Familiarity in a Mac OS based environment
  • Results-oriented and customer-focused
  • Able to drive and manage change
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to adapt in a complex and changing environment
  • Work with detailed technical information and hands-on technical experience
  • Experience working in cross team environments specifically with Engineering
