We are looking for a Hyperion/Oracle EPM Administrator for our Ventura, CA headquarters. In this role you will serve as system owner and subject matter expert with Hyperion EPM cloud application for our Technical Operations team. This includes management, configuration/development, and operations support of the Hyperion EPM suite of which expertise is required in Hyperion Financial Management, Essbase, Financial Reporting and Data Integration.This position is accountable for the monthly close processes, maintenance, issues analysis and new development Oracle EPM in addition to proactively identifying enhancement opportunities to the Hyperion suite as implemented. Understand, interpret and transform business problems, opportunities and requirements for recommending solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.

 WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Administration of Hyperion/Oracle EPM Financial Management, Essbase, SPM, reporting, security, and troubleshooting system issues
  • Lead administrator in analyzing EPM system messages, testing new patches and upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting performance issues, and promoting application objects for the applications in scope.
  • Advise team on EPM integrations and custom reports
  • Perform month-end closing tasks and support the business during the close cycle.
  • Adapt and optimize all applications for changes to business structure and strategy
  • Migrating artifacts between different environments
  • Validate and reconcile system during implementations and upgrades
  • Weekend and off-hours work sometimes required, particularly around month-end closing
  • Responsible for periodic upgrades to Hyperion/EPM applications to optimize functionality and compatibility
  • Ensures data integrity and accuracy with Hyperion/EPM applications. Develops and implements the necessary operational controls.
  • Ensures the timely and accurate generation of all reporting, ensuring consistency and standardization amongst the various types of reports and databases.
  • Trains users in all aspects of new software.
  • Works with other departments, including Finance and Accounting, to review business and system requirements, processes and/or systems design, plans for build, test and post-implementation to ensure successful implementation and execution for the Finance Teams
  • Works to develop, maintain and support metadata and data in all applications.
  • Extensively worked with Hyperion/EPM security, using Shared Services for HFM and Essbase filtering.

WHO YOU ARE:

  • 3+ years of Hyperion/EPM Administrator
  • Hyperion/EPM Business administration include Metadata maintenance, Deployment of application, adding new entities, maintaining Hierarchies and Managing and approving user access
  • Hyperion/EPM creation of data forms, data grids, process management, task workflows, journal entry, and consolidation.
  • Understanding scenarios, creating and maintaining new and existing.
  • Develop Business Rules and Member Lists.
  • Trouble shoot user issue in Hyperion/EPM planning, Essbase and SmartView
  • Working knowledge of Hyperion/EPM, Essbase, Hyperion Financial Report Studio, and SmartView
  • Ability to lead new development and maintain existing Hyperion Financial Management Applications and customizations
  • Working knowledge of Data Relationship Manager (DRM) and Hyperion Planning
  • Knowledge of general ledger systems
  • Ability to interface with IT and business users to quickly correct problems and develop solutions
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to details, multi-tasking abilities and team oriented #LI-TP1
