Position Overview:

InvestCloud is looking for a Desktop Support Technician to add to our LA team. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with a passion for computing. This role is focused on providing HelpDesk support for internal users in our LA office, working and managing systems on Windows and Linux servers, driving Platform related issues and tasks to resolution. The role is varied; you must have flexibility and willingness to work hard and learn new things.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to interface with multi-disciplinary teams in an effort provide support for and troubleshoot internal technical issues

• Provide technical assistance for incoming queries and issues related to proprietary technologies, computer systems, software, and hardware.

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners

• Facilitate infrastructure and product-related tasks

• Help manage InvestCloud’s proprietary technologies for data management, sharing, and distribution

• Escalation point for production support issues

• Manage assigned tasks contributing to InvestCloud's Operations strategy

• Maintain best practices for technical operations

• Participate in brainstorming and other idea-generating team sessions

• Work to continuously develop expertise within key areas of technical operations

Requirements:

• Experience in DNS Administration (e.g. A, CNAME, MX, TXT)

• Experience in Active Directory Administration

• Comfort with the setup and troubleshooting of both PCs and Macs

• Experience supporting users with varying levels of technical skills and abilities

• Self-sufficient, self-motivated and reliable

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and relentlessly prioritize

• No job too big and no job too small attitude with a commitment to quality

• The desire to learn and build new skills every day

• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows servers is a plus
