Ecomm Operations Coordinator

We’re looking for a self-motivated and process-driven Ecomm-Ops Coordinator to join our new team.  The ecomm operations department sits center stage at this fast-growing startup and is tasked with finding creative, technically-driven solutions to the complex promotional and ecommerce-related problems associated with hyper-growth.   As coordinator you’ll ensure the company’s ecomm initiatives are executed efficiently by adhering to best practices, rigorous documentation, and strict SLAs established by the department.  You’ll work cross-functionally with the Business Development, Growth and Retention Marketing, and Merch-Marketing teams, gaining a unique perspective into the overall business process.  This is an exciting opportunity to add immediate value and help shape the way we handle our core business goals.  The right person for the role has a passion for process, and a desire to cultivate a center of excellence for all things e-commerce.  

 

Responsibilities

  • Set up campaigns and site merch features under tight deadlines, across 4 teams
  • Create final promotional and website pages that include photo assets, copy, brand page links, and other fields once cross-functional teams have submitted final assets
  • Work closely with Tech, Business Development, Marketing, Merch, and CRM to problem solve any issues discovered in the QA process
  • QA all promos 72 hours in advance of launch and troubleshoot any issues
  • Responsible for promotional/ecomm set-up from beginning to end; demonstrating a deep sense of ownership in the success of the initiative 
  • Work closely with procurement team to manage and monitor promo inventory levels before, during, and immediately following promotional time period 
  • Working weekends and holidays occasionally required to launch site-wide promotions

 

Qualifications

  • Experience working in an e-commerce platform; Magento a plus! 
  • Proactive: you recognize when there is a better/faster way to get the task done and you’re not afraid to speak up 
  • Communication: you have excellent written and verbal skills and are comfortable working cross-functionally
  • Diagramming: you believe it didn’t happen if there’s not a screenshot to prove it
  • Attitude: you’ve worked on teams with various personalities and understand a helpful attitude is key to collaboration 
  • Troubleshooting: you hate seeing the same problem twice and are determined to identify the root cause of an issue the first time 
  • Detail-oriented: You understand excellent execution is in the details 
  • Accountability: You see the big picture and are willing to do what it takes to get the task completed
  • Technical skills: You’re interested in the backend execution of ecomm initiatives, and are eager to grow your technical prowess
