PatientPop is the leader in practice growth with the only all-in-one solution that empowers healthcare providers to improve every digital touchpoint of the patient journey. As experts in the healthcare technology space, PatientPop makes it easy for providers to promote their practices online, attract patients, and retain them for life.

We've grown from a small, scrappy team to a workforce of 400+ driven individuals who are committed to scaling smarter. As we move into our next phase of growth, we're looking for passionate and dedicated people to focus on innovative solutions while ensuring that we maintain a superb customer experience. That, in part, means finding highly qualified candidates who want to invest their energy to align with our company's long-term goals.

Are you ready to really dig into a new role? We're looking for you.

Why you're important to us:

The role of the Domain Specialist is crucial to the success of PatientPop’s Customer Support team and our customers. Domain Specialists work closely with Customer Success teams (i.e., Implementation Managers, Tier 2, Practice Success) to meet strict deadlines, ensure all PatientPop websites are launched seamlessly and on-time, and provide top-tier post-launch support for live websites. Success in this role will contribute to site performance and overall ongoing customer satisfaction.

How you will contribute:

Domain Specialists are an integral part of the client’s pre and post-launch experience. As part of the Frontline Customer Support Team, the Domain Specialist will efficiently prepare domain names for new customers, and resolve technical cases pertaining to live websites within established service level agreements. This role will have a detailed understanding of domain related issues, and will develop further skills that will complement our website deployments.

Our customer base is made up of medical professionals (e.g., doctors, dentists, front-office managers of medical practices) who use our PatientPop marketing platform. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working independently as well as in a team environment, have critical thinking skills with a high commitment to quality and be able to problem solve while providing excellent customer support.

Speed, efficiency, and professionalism is required for this role. You will also be cross trained in other support related topics as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing hosted zones for client website launches
  • Build and deploy websites for new accounts
  • Migration of customer email to the cloud
  • Web and email administration
  • Various DNS troubleshooting cases
  • Creating redirects for client domains
  • Ensuring that 100% of our client sites are SSL compliant
  • Document domain-related processes, FAQs and departmental training guides
  • Training/Coaching of Implementation and Support team members on basic DNS troubleshooting
  • Other projects as assigned

You will stand out with:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience in the web space
  • Familiarity with setting up and troubleshooting email
  • Thorough knowledge of DNS fundamentals
  • Practical experience with troubleshooting DNS issues
  • Familiarity with SSL/TLS and setting up HTTPS sites
  • Comfortable working in shell/terminal at times
  • Ability to quickly research relevant materials regarding new issues as they arise

In your first 90 days you will:

You will become familiar with the PatientPop onboarding and domain set-up process while being immersed in an SEO environment. You will understand our launch process and how to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical support cases pertaining to live websites.  Beyond managing your daily activities, you will be encouraged to share ideas to improve team processes and help the team grow.  During this period, you will then develop a detailed understanding of how to launch websites and work on domain related cases.

PatientPop has one simple mission: help healthcare practices thrive. Our solution is the leading all-in-one practice growth platform that's HIPAA-compliant and helps providers promote their practice online, attract patients, and retain them for life.  Learn more at patientpop.com

We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws, including the City of Los Angeles’ Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance.
